With this walk, you can give back to your community and receive the joy of being in our beautiful Bidwell Park with your neighbors, friends, and family.
Your registration fee goes to producing the event and to all its recipients. The recipients are those in our community that has given to us all so generously of their time and talent and now we get to show them our gratitude and thankfulness by joining together and giving with intention.
I think you’d agree that we have so much to be grateful for in our lives…
even just the tiniest of things.
We all wake up every morning; we have someone to love or who loves us,
the beautiful Chico sunshine and our majestic Bidwell park, to name a few.
But it’s also much bigger than that. Beyond ourselves there is so much more to be thankful for;
a special teacher or professor,
our fire crews,
our law enforcement professionals,
and food banks that make sure nobody goes to bed hungry.
Use your imagination, I’m sure you can think of many more in your own life.
